The Beautiful Journey
of Our Nursery

Over the years, our nursery has experienced steady growth. What began as a passion for trees has evolved into a renowned nursery where quality and craftsmanship are at the heart of everything we do.

1978

Fascinated by trees that blend into the landscape, Joos Van Tieghem began growing standard trees.

2005

Charles Van Tieghem, Joos’s eldest son, started a second nursery specializing in standard trees. Today, the two nurseries form a single large operation.

2013

Joos is passing the torch to Charles when it comes to day-to-day management. He will, however, remain active at the nursery.

1995

As a pioneer in Belgium, Joos began growing multi-stemmed trees and shrubs.

2011

Joos Tree Nursery has earned the international MPS-A environmental certification. This confirms that the nursery practices sustainable cultivation.

2024

With 30 ha of growing area, Joos Tree Nursery is becoming the region’s leading source for both semi-mature and mature trees of exceptional quality.
